Undergraduate education

During the development of the neuroscience program, Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology (SUAT) actively engages in interdisciplinary and cross-regional academic exchanges and collaborations. It has established research partnerships and talent development initiatives with institutions such as the University of British Columbia in Canada, INRA in France, and Humboldt University in Germany, providing undergraduate students with a platform for international exchange and practical experience. The Faculty of Life and Health Sciences maintains close interactions with world-class research platforms in Shenzhen like the Brain Science Infrastructure and Brain Innovation Center, offering support for creating an "application-oriented" undergraduate training environment. To meet teaching needs, the college will establish several laboratories, including virtual reality technology, molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, physiology, computational neuroscience, and neuroanatomy and histology. Additionally, SUAT's standardized mentor selection, training, and evaluation systems along with its well-developed service system has a strong emphasis on scientific ethics and academic integrity thereby providing comprehensive safeguards for undergraduate education.
